A tezfin account

You can sign in with your password or via the Telegram bot — no password needed there if your phone number in tezfin is verified.

Claude or ChatGPT

Claude works on the free plan too — it lets you add one custom connector. ChatGPT needs a plan with custom MCP connectors; that depends on your plan and workspace settings.

Your spreadsheet

Attach the file to the chat, or give the assistant access through its own Google Drive connection.

Connect tezfin to your assistant

Claude

On claude.ai, in the desktop app or on your phone.

  1. “Customize” → “Connectors”.
  2. “+ Add” → “Add custom connector”.
  3. Name — tezfin, URL — https://app.tezfin.uz/mcp → “Add”.
  4. Click “Connect” and sign in to tezfin — the assistant gets access to import only.
  5. In a chat: “+” at the bottom left → “Connectors” → turn on tezfin.

ChatGPT

You need a plan that offers custom MCP connectors.

  1. “Settings” → “Apps & Connectors” → “Advanced” → turn on “Developer mode”.
  2. “Create”: name — tezfin, URL — https://app.tezfin.uz/mcp, authentication — OAuth.
  3. Sign in to tezfin and allow access to import.
  4. In a chat, turn on tezfin via “+”.

ChatGPT’s menu names change from time to time. If you can’t find an item, check your plan or ask your workspace admin.

How it works

  1. Matches categories

    The assistant takes the list of tezfin categories and matches it to yours.

  2. Shows a summary

    How many transactions and over what period, income and spending, duplicates, and rows it couldn’t make sense of.

  3. You confirm

    Check the summary and tell the assistant it can upload.

  4. History in tezfin

    The transactions appear in tezfin.

You can undo the whole import with a single command:

Limits

  • Up to 2,000 rows at a time — the assistant splits a large spreadsheet on its own.
  • There are daily limits on the number of uploads.
  • History can go back no more than 3 years.
  • Uploading the same spreadsheet again doesn’t create duplicates.
  • Categories come only from the tezfin list.
safety

Safety

  • The assistant gets access to import only: it can’t see your transactions, financial passport or profile.
  • The connection stays active while you use it: after 30 days without use, the assistant will ask you to sign in again. You can revoke access at any time in the tezfin app: Profile → Connections.
  • Your spreadsheet data passes through the AI assistant you chose, and its privacy rules apply to it.
  • Imported history doesn’t lower your financial passport.
